Marienville state police said a woman from Niagara Falls, New York, suffered a suspected minor injury in a motorcycle crash in Jenks Township on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said Ronda L. Grose, 52, was operating a 2007 Yamaha V Star 1300 at about 3:30 p.m., when she failed to negotiate a left-hand curve on Loleta Road, south of Buzzard Swamp Road, and was then ejected from the motorcycle.

Police said she was transported to Clarion Hospital by Clarion Hospital Emergency Medical Services.

Marineville Volunteer Fire Department also responded, according to police.

Clarion state police said no one was injured when a tractor-trailer brought down utility lines in Clarion Township early Thursday evening.

According to police, a 2015 Kenworth T680 merged back onto Route 66 south, north of Eberline Road, after it had pulled off the highway at about 6:30 p.m.

Police said the truck's trailer struck an overhanging utility line, and the line as well other utility lines were pulled down.

Police said a 2023 Volvo VNL, which was traveling north, struck one of the downed lines that fell onto its lane of travel.

According to Clarion County 911, the incident forced a shutdown of the highway until 7:45 p.m.

Limestone Township Volunteer Fire Department and Clarion Hospital Emergency Medical Services also responded, according to 911.

State police in Clarion filed charges against Knox resident Levi Michael Barrett, 28, in relation to an early morning incident on Aug. 8 in Beaver Township, which forced the closure of Route 338 and various side roads while police searched for the male victim in the case.

Butler state police said three people died in a two-vehicle crash late Monday afternoon in which a Clarion County man was involved.

CLARION - The reassessment of all properties in Clarion County has begun starting in Clarion Borough and Clarion Township.
